The problem is it is to,e difficult and prone to attract the Abyss’s attention. Originally posted by Michael View Post. The World of Darkness has many different kinds of demons. Being very aware of your own vices and failings and those of others lends itself to a more “anti-heroic” bearing.
It has quite a few baffling moments.
They do what magr need to to accomplish their goal. Okay, here’s a question, then: Last edited by Varsovian ; But ToW mentions that they are actually summoning demons? Last edited by saibot ; As for the Evil part of it I think Supernal Pandaemonium demons are different from demons straight out of hell — or Infernal demons. That goes for all, not just Mastigos.
Mastigos as a whole are not so much Evil themselves, as they are simply very aware of their own and other’s capacity for evil. I don’t remember if it was in the core rulebook. From what ToW says of them, they seem The core rulebook seems to suggest that they only encounter these beings during their Awakenings Wow I wish I had something mwge to say here. As to general usability of Tome of Watchtowers – It is good to read it once. Originally posted by Mrmdubois View Post.
The Thyrsus chapter wasn’t bad, it was just Classic World of Darkness. Fhe, to sum it up: Do note that Mastigos deal with two different kinds of Demons to make it more confusing. Do they summon them? I’ve always thought that their “infernal” connection is purely because they Wake up in Pandemonium – and, aside from that, they are simply Mind mages.
In the case of Pandemoniac demons they tend to be or seem to be more hostile to their summoners because it is th the mage is asking for more punishment. With a 3-dot spell a Disciple of an Arcanum can summon Supernal beings aligned to his Path.
I only say this because I know Mage rules and cosmology A lot of the book seems written about a different version of Mage. This goes for Pandemoniac demons too. Originally posted by wyrdhamster View Post.
The Demons of Pandemonium help you in usually unpleasant ways to understand yourself. Overall, the Mastigos are weird. But I still think that 2ED Paths spoilers grasps watcbtowers better Paths – it’s no wonder, spoilers are only year old, ToW was second supplement to be written, about in
