It’s easy to maintain and restful to look guidd. What I most like about him is that he does not prescribe what minimalism is, instead he indicates that lifes much easier without unecessary items that may vary. Go for Marie Kondo or The Minimalists. The book includes chapters on decluttering, single-tasking, eliminating nonessentials, planning your day, clearing your inbox, getting motivated, cultivating compassion, boosting self-confidence, living consciously, and much more!
I wish that it had been longer and had gone into more detail. Do more with less. While excess consumption leads to bigger houses, faster cars, fancier technology, and cluttered homes, it never brings happiness.
I’d call this recommended reading for anyone who has a general, vague discomfiture with life and feels like time is passing by, yet seems to have it all. However, downloading an ebook on minimalism from a sim;le who has a large family, Tweets as his main form of e-communication and seems to have projects going on seems like taking dieting advice from the obese.

Overall, I enjoyed this book because I think there was plenty of information that was helpful and valid, but I wish it would have gone deeper into the ideas behind minimalism more. Cook at home, clearly good advice. Cutting down waste, space, clothes, belongings, some of the FAQ went as far as to ask the author about whether having 6 kids was against the minimalist trend Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him. I believe it’s essential to find balance in order to live a healthy life.
Some good ideas, however. The best of the Minimalists! Get absolutely everything off your desk! In short, it will help you enjoy a simpler, happier life!
