I was in my early 20’s when I found my love for books and It’s all because of this book right here!!! The Host gets you into the head of two characters. I’ve tried to understand it, tried to give it the benefit of my time, and all i get out of it is a surge in my blood pressure from pure undiluted frustration.
Anyway, our protagonist “Wanderer” has just been put into the body of a member of the human rebellion force called Melanie Mel Stryder.
I have to say, I have never had to put this much effort into reading a book in my life. She is arriving toward the end of the alien invasion when very few humans remain.
Would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who is even slightly interested in it! This is supposed to be a more adult-themed book, but in many ways I found it less adult enticing and more juvenile in tone. Amazon Rapids Fun stories for kids on the go. The eye is just too creepy.
I know the answer to that. And where is steohenie conflict? I cried because Meyer changed it from the perfect, bittersweet sad ending, to a meyet ending. I find it interesting that this novel is pegged for “adults” stepheni the Twilight novels were pegged “young adult” as I don’t see a great deal of difference, except for one main fact: I kid you not. In Animorphs, the book series by Katherine Applegate the idea pretty much mirrors I know it’s not original but I grew up with it so bite methe Yeerks evolved alongside the Gedds, and the Gedds were pretty crappy hosts anyway.

I am just a lowly reader and spender, not a publisher. We are supposed to want them to take us over? Perhaps it was meant to be so. I’m not sorry that I read it!
The story is just not interesting because it doesn’t even seem like she’s trying. XD I’m extremely impressed of Stephenie Meyer. Probably not, as I was likely the only sane human stephnie saw it. Even though it was long, i still loved every page of it. And it can also be said that this is actually a love fourangle – 3 boddies and 4 souls.
It gets pretty complicated when two people are sharing one body. For the record, I have my original nose and never had a car until I was in my twenties.
