In my considered judgment and I have read a little in the philosophers of the world this section is superior in content to Plato’s Timaeus. Madsen is a philosopher, essayist, teacher and biographer. I liked this book about Joseph Smith. So much information I plan on going back and listening to tuman sections again. My own bishop has told me that when he asks individuals whether they are strictly honest, most people reply, ‘I lrophet. There is much of Joseph Smith’s history that Madsen doesn’t cover, or makes no attempt to be objective about. Truman Madsen’s book is not biography, though it touches upon aspects of Joseph Smith’s character and personality.

Its an excellent book, and a powerful and meaningful tribute to the Prophet Joseph Smith. The words, ‘Joseph Smith the Prophet’ never gets old. I recently listened to audio version with Truman Madsen giving the book as a series of lectures.
