Character Development is quite excellent in this novel, and watching Cadel grow up cathefine change throughout the novel is incredibly engaging. Roth also stuns Cadel by revealing that he is employed by Cadel’s birth father, Dr.

As I was reading it, I thought that it would make a great movie or TV series. Thanks for telling us about the problem. It felt like standard fare and the effort put into explaining every detail weighed down the story. The suspense was picking up, and my interest was quickly fenius.

Thadeus really appears to care about, or even love, Cadel. Cadel is almost unbelievably bright, and his deviations into mathematics and the wonders of the periodic table may loose a few readers.

The writing and character development are excellent. Cadel does not yet know that this school was founded a few years ago specifically for him, to train and mentor him in the skills needed to become a criminal mastermind — like his benius father.

Thankfully, things pick up in the final third of the novel jonks Cadel begins to piece together that things might not necessarily be what they seem. At first his class was very challenging for Cadel, but soon enough Cadel overcame this obstacle also. Yet his charm and likability do cannot help you from feeling frightened of him.

I was gratified to find him acting and thinking his age sometimes, because those moments stopped him from becoming too unbelievable. I find that very touching … Subject: Ich bin doch froh, das Buch nicht gekauft zu haben.

Caden’s foster parents are worried about him because they have received multiple calls from his school about him hacking into their computers. When Cadel is fourteen he finishes high school, thanks to an accelerated program, geniius enrolls in the Axis Institute – a place where people with skills society frowns upon, or locks you up for, can be nurtured and perfected.

I’m not a number or computer whiz, so I can’t be sure if all the technical stuff was correct, but it did not detract from the story and even seemed to add an air of authenticity, at least to my untrained eye. In she married Peter Dockrill, a Canadian journalist; in she and her husband left Australia for a brief spell in Nova Scotia, where she began to write full time. Gazo assists Cadel in his scheme to rid Axis of certain staff members.
