The Truth About Forever. I hadn’t really heard much about this book before I read it, so I definitely didn’t have any preconceived notions about what it would be like.

These were discussed frankly in the narrative, which I think was a good thing to do, as it is not often that it raised in these contemporary love or in this case, non-love stories in the YA genre.
There are no horror stories, but she doesn’t make it out to be super simple either. Anatomy of a Single Girl is the continuation of Dominique’s eventful firsts, as we take a trip home with her for the summer after her freshman year of college.
How did you manage to get into seriously emotional situations? I also liked the paralleling relationship her friend Amy is experiencing at the same time and how each of these girls grow and learn from both and from each other.
One minute she’d be really hot with Wes and the next, snap! While Amy was always ready to throw caution to the wind and jump into everything headfirst, Dom was much more calculated in her actions and I loved what they brought out of one another.

I know that Dom wants to be a doctor, but it almost felt like the author was trying to give the readers a sexual health lesson.
It’s sort of like a Judy Blume book actually Judy Blume is one of the people to whom this book is dedicated only more graphic, I think. And I liked how Dom had always been together until Wesley turned her world upside down–even to the extent of her wanting to go to the same college as him to be close. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. Although I did question a little WHY Dom and Wes got involved with each other as there’s not an obvious attraction, it’s also understandable – some girls make it through their teenage years without becoming more than a little bit obsessed with a guy, and some don’t.

He helps her see herself outside of the box she’s put her experiences in and while she’s having fun and exploring, I really loved her revelation at the end. Yeah, that was bad.

I am all for girl power: The friendship felt real. May 18, Marianne Boricuan Bookworms rated it it was ok. But here’s the thing; they’re hoyfriend crude or crass or gross. She expirienced her first love and all the problems that came with it.
Dom is one of the ones that doesn’t. I can’t stop thinking about this book.
It’s a coming-of-age o for that transitioning stage of your life when you’re not quite an adult but not really a teenage anymore either. The Six Rules of Maybe. Why did it take so long you might ask?

The faria starts out promising I believe the theme in this novel is experiencing the bad makes you appreciate the good. The conflict in the book is both man vs. It’s a book that shows you can boyfiend mistaken when it comes to want, when you’re not getting enough.
