And what we move on to is a profound examination of Christian conversion, Christian living and Christian hope through the lives of well-drawn, vital characters, set in a first-century context but relevant for the 21st as well and for any other century.

It can seem a bit daunting during the first few chapters as there are a lot of characters introduced, but don’t get too overwhelmed as the story moves along they fall to the background.
