This book was very unusual and fascinating at the same time. I wonder if its better to read impressionist stream-of-consciousness bxlta in a language you’re not totally comfortable with, because you don’t try too hard to understand it.

Some of the more abstract scenes were overwrought, but most of it was beautiful and terribly depressing.
