Overall, godberseen was a promising start to the series. Letty is out to realize her dreams of becoming a star on Broadway, while Cordelia plans to track down her infamous father.

New York is ruled by the Bright Young Things: He appeared to be a love interest for Astrid but, like I said, the author stayed pretty clear of their storyline and focused solely on Letty and Cordelia.

That is what I want to tell you about: I was sure the girl was going to crumple in on herself at the drop of a hat. I admit, I enjoy books that take place in the 20’s, it’s such an interesting era, but I actually felt like I was in the 20’s.
